‘Allesio Velliscig’, the guitar player for the Italian progressive Metal band “Pathosray”, who formed back in 2009, has left the band.
The guitar player parted ways with the prog titans due to music differences. However, the departure was on good terms.
“Pathosray” have announced that guitar player ‘Antonio Petris’ will take ‘Allesio Velliscig’s’ place as the guitar player for the group.
In an official statement released on the bands “MySpace” blog, ‘Antonio Petris’ commented that “I am definitely thankful to the guys for giving me this chance – playing with these musicians puts me in a higher gear and I am sure that they will certainly give me a lot of satisfaction in the future!”
The statement also highlights the fact that ‘Fabio D’Amore’ (Bass) has collaborated with ‘Antonio Petris’ in past years on numerous other projects.
The band currently have two demos and two complete studio albums, of which the latest was “Sunless Skies”, released last year.
“Pathosray” describe themselves on their official website as a “melodic, yet hard-hitting, progressive metal” band.
The band currently have no plans to tour yet, as no gigs or shows are listed on the official website.
