Metal band “Slipknot” have announced they will be releasing a new live DVD at the end of September later this year.
The DVD, titled “(sic)nesses”, captures the whole of their historical concert at the “Download” festival last year, in which 80,000 people were witness too. Details were published on their website today.
A total of Thirty Cameras were used to capture the performance which contains fan favourites “Wait and Bleed” and “Everything Ends”, plus many more. In total eighteen songs are included on the live set of the DVD.
Behind the scenes footage and some selected music videos for some of the groups more recent songs have been added to the DVD, giving those that purchase it more than just a live set.
On a more sincere note Slipknots website “Slipknot HQ” reads: “Perhaps most importantly, (sic)nesses is one of the final major performances for founding member Paul Gray, who tragically passed away in May 2010. While initially unintended, the concert is a testament to the legacy”.
Slipknots latest album “All Hope is Gone” was released in 2008, and was produced by Dave Fortman (Guitarist for “Ugly Kid Joe”)
In 2008 the album climbed to second place in the UK album charts. For more information on “(sic)nesses” visit:
